I'm mainly concerned because resaving these old mods in the CK brings up a huge list of warnings, which I actually disabled to save time. The porting process is quite simple, but I'm concerned about whether there will be any long lasting harmful effects on save files in the long run? Say over 100+ hours saves start to get corrupted because of differences in the SKSE engine or whatever? Has anyone experienced issues like this when porting over old mods? SKSE64 seems to be stable enough even though it's an "alpha". They all seem to be working very well without issues, even those which require SKSE and have an MCM. I've also done Extended UI, Inconsequential NPCs and some other smaller mods that aren't on the SSE Nexus. So far I've managed to "successfully" port several popular mods which use SKSE: Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (CCOR), Clothing and Clutter Fixes (CCF) and Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade (WAFR).

The only issue was the significant lack of good mods in SSE, so I decided to port them myself for personal use, I realize they cannot be uploaded to Nexus without prior permissions. I'm transitioning from Oldrim to SSE (finally!) as the Special Edition's 64 bit engine is much more stable and faster overall.
